• Orientation/Introduction

Introduce who, where, when, what (characters, setting, time, the situation):

The family is sitting at home while little do they know that a great storm is heading their way.

The main action part of the story. What happens? What happens next?

Their roof caves in and the family is forced to move away.

• Resolution

The resolution of the complication or problem.

Their agent finds them a new house. They buy it and live happily ever after.

What do the main characters feel about what is happening ? How can you show this?

Description of setting and atmosphere:

The setting is in a small house that is soon flooded. The atmosphere is a bright, happy one but soon gets intense and mysterious.
